- MmikeVirginia •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe ordered Chilean Sea Bass, a Fillet mignon, Brussel sprouts and house salad. Steak cooked perfectly but could have used some drippings and the sea bass was was well presented and delicious as were the salad and brussell sprouts.More infoFleming's Steakhouse - RichmondPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Richmond•4.7

- SshannonVIPVirginia •19 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSo we went to Perry's Valentine's night and had a reservation at 645 and they were running 15-20 min behind finally at 730 we Sat down but they had no glasses clean for drinks waited about 15 more for water and drinks from the bar. We had a limited menu but I was disappointed that they sat me in the bar beside someone I could hear the entire conversation and they were so loud and it was hard for my husband to even hear anything. And I booked for the patio too. The service was spectacular though as the food . The wedge salad was fantastic. The wine was super expensive one glass was 56.00 and it was ok. The steak and lobster was delicious and I could honestly say the fillet was the best I ever had. The mashed potatoes were really good as were the veggies too. The chocolate covered strawberries were scrumptious. We had so much food left over definitely enough for 4 people. Price wise the food definitely was worth it. Not so much the wine. Definitely would go back just not for Valentine's Day. They had 1500 reservations and I feel they overbooked for everyone. Hopefully next year they limit the reservations. I feel you get better service and not so rushed. We didn't even get to finish our salads before food was out.More infoPerry's Steakhouse & Grille – Richmond - Short PumpPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Dumbarton•4.6
- CChrisVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoTook my long-time friend for Valentine's Day. We have never tried 1870. I made a reservation a month in advance because it was Valentine's Day. We were seated on the second floor, the Jewett Room. They only have four tables in the room so compared to the bar area, it was quiet. We had a table for 4, so for the 2 of us we had plenty of room. My date started with a cocktail, "The Mother of all President's", which was fabulous. The service was terrific, special shout out to our waiter Jacob. The meal was perfectly prepared. We both had the 6 oz filet mignon and it was so flavorful and tender. We shared the sauteed spinach and au gratin potatoes. For dessert, we split the dark chocolate tart, which went well with our bottle of Caymas Cabernet. I highly recommend for a special occasion. We heard they have a great happy hour, so we will definitely return and check it out.More info1870 Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• American• Midlothian•4.6
- DDr. NatashaWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMidlothian Ruth's Chris never fails to uphold a high standard. The GM Christina is super amazing and is very personable with her customers that dine in this five star restaurant. Having conversed with her and know that she worked from the bottom up gives an immense amount of respect for such a diligent and focused work ethic. Zach, albeit leaving soon, is amazing and we know that when he leaves will be just as delighted with the next server on our next visit. This place is very clean, smells great, the chefs have majestic cooking hands, and the food comes out hot and worth every penny spent. Of course this doesn't come cheap, but even on a budget if one were to save or even dine during happy hour, you can come and have an enjoyable experience and even leave with leftovers. The food portions are appropriate to the value. If you're looking to celebrate on an exquisite level whether it is an anniversary, birthday, proposal, business meeting, or just a night out for greatness - this is the place to be and enjoy, because you only live once.
