Best Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurants in Arts District

I ordered surfers burrito, a juice, coffee, and a tea, and it was $45 plus tax and tip. This is no longer sustainable for me and unfortunately, I doubt I will return. I know it’s not your fault. The food prices are just too high and I can no longer afford to eat out. Breakfast was my last Haven because it was the cheapest meal and now because of the egg crisis it was also become unsustainable for me.

The Spaghetti Squash Casserole is one my favorites. I had it this time with their pesto sauce as a substitute for their delicious tomato sauce for a fun change. It was so amazing that I ordered another one to take home; and my spouse ordered one to go too.The staff here are great and very accommodating as well. We love coming to True Food Kitchen frequently for our date night!!

We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at MOMED, and it was the perfect spot for a large gathering. With 10 of her friends joining us, the restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere made the night feel truly special. The food was delicious and ideal for sharing, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The cocktails were excellent—crafted with care and full of flavor. But what really stood out was the wonderful service. The staff was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly, adding to the celebratory feel of the evening. We ended the night at the bar, which was cheery, lively, and inviting—the perfect way to wrap up the celebration. The bartenders were fun, engaging, and incredibly talented, making the experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place to host a special gathering or just enjoy a great meal with friends, MOMED is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall it was a very good experience, we had reservations and were promptly seated. The ambiance of the restaurant was a highlight although the seating was quite cramped with tables right next to each other. The food was top-notch and flavorful, definitely do no skip out on the deserts!

Very tasty surprise in East LA. Home made and delicious pastas.
