Best Italian Restaurants in North Lauderdale

My wife and I had dinner at Serafina last night and we certainly understand now the reasons behind the rave reviews. The food was excellent. We sat outdoors right on the water and the place had a very nice and relaxed ambience. The service was excellent as well. I could tell that every staff person was trying their best and hustling around. Staff was very attentive and sincere. My wife had pasta with a pear stuffing and pesto sauce. I had a generous serving of muscles in a garlic, white wine sauce and the whole branzino, which was perfectly deboned. It may not be in a fancy hotel or overlooking the Fort Lauderdale beaches, but this is a wonderful restsurant with great food, service, and ambience. . 

Best experience yet. The restaurant was buzzing with groups of people celebrating different occasions. Felt like a party. The Chicken parm was rated lifetime number one from a chicken parm connoseir. My whole family loves it here.

We had a memorable evening, thanks to the great atmosphere. Food and performances. My only suggestion be to include ice tea as an option Best wishes for continued success!

Loved Camille’s and our waitress, Mary, was awesome! Valentine’s Day 5:30 reservation (only time we could get). We started with the Beet Salad and Grigliata mista. My wife loves beet salad and if it’s on the menu, she can’t resist! I was fabulous! Those beets along with, pistachio’s and arugula, and the creamy, wonderful cheese underneath. Holy Cow! Delicious. I wasn’t expecting the Griglia Mista to be fried, but it was wonderful. Very light breading and the dipping sauce was out perfect. Home run on the apps. Those plates were cleared and then 3 perfectly sized garlic rolls came straight from Heaven…I mean the kitchen. Some restaurants give baseball or softball sized rolls. Too big…these were perfectly sized and flavored. Left plenty of room for the meal. For the meal entree, I had the pasta special with shrimp, mussels, and clams. Home made noodles and a perfect sauce. My wife had the salmon piccata - She loved every bite. Everything was prepared spot on. We will be going back to Camille’s. Making a reservation for next month when my daughter comes for a visit.

Homemade pasta at its finest , ambiance and service treated with personal attention and the chef owners greetings at you table gives you a warm fuzzy feeling Highly recommend for that special occasion or just because you crave for the best pasta dish!
