- AAmandaDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoEspelette was amazing for our first breakfast in California! Accommodating is an understatement, they treated our 6 month old like an honored guest! Their highchair was super clean and nice, the valet helped us get our stroller set up, and the hostess stored it away while we ate. The food was very good, and the restaurant is beautiful insideMore infoEspelettePrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Beverly Hills•4.7

Dinner and a show, with a level of entertainment and a quality of food we were not expecting; a welcome surprise. The decor is vibrant and beautiful and there are varied seating options, no matter what ambiance you're looking for. For those who like to be close to the action, there's seating near the open kitchen, but for those who want a more intimate dining experience, there's plenty of table space elsewhere to accommodate. Live music and dancing during dinner were exciting and fun, adding to the experience, but I would not say this is a "quiet" dining experience. We LOVED it. The food was EXCELLENT. Top tier, especially for high-class dining. Often in LA County, you get good food or a good vibe but Katsin has both. The portion sizes are large and very delicious. The beef cheeks are rich, buttery, and savory, while the Mediterranean-style lamb chops were some of the best I've had in SoCal. Dishes are well-cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive and the service was 10/10.More infoKATSINPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Glendale•4.7
- SStacieLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe've been going to Shu for more than a decade and they never disappoint. Lots of long time employees here and they make it a point to deliver an exceptional dining experience each and every time. We hadn't been to Shu in awhile but Leo, the head chef, didn't miss a beat in remembering what we like. We typically only eat sashimi and we trust whatever Leo decides to serve us. One of our absolute favorites is bluefin tuna with ponzu-wasabi. Some of our other favorite dishes are yellowtail with truffle, red snapper with avocado, and needle fish (not on the menu)! We often compare our sushi experiences to Shu and hands down Shu always comes out on top not just in the quality of the sushi but the overall dining experience delivered by the friendly and knowledgeable staff.More infoSHU - Sushi House Unico - Bel AirPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Bel-Air•4.8
