Best Steakhouses in Altamont

Jesse was great waiter and helped to make it a perfect Valentine’s dinner. Food superb as always. Loved the featured Cabernet. My only negative had not at all to do with this lovely restaurant, but with several of the customers. It was a Saturday evening on a festive weekend in a very upscale elegant restaurant. We were shocked to see way too many customers, who paid a pretty penny for meals, wearing well-worn sweatshirts with distressed jeans and sneakers. They looked like they were going on a picnic. Customers of ALL ages!

Im really not one to write reviews for anything as most unfortunatly are. For my girlfriend and my first time going to Black&Blue from waiting for our table to paying the bill her and I agreed it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Both steaks were cooked beautifully and were still nice and warm when arrived to the table. We tried the nights special lobster mac&cheese and was pleasantly surprised how great it all was! Cheese was not too heavy, noodles were great and the lobster was amazing! Prices weren’t even as bad as we anticipated! A lovely night at Black&Blue on February 14th Valentines day :)

I had an outstanding experience at Mortons last night. From the moment we booked, the service was exceptional. The manager personally confirmed our reservation, which made us feel truly valued. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening, ensuring everything ran smoothly. As for the food, it was absolutely amazing. Every dish was prepared with care and packed with flavor, making it clear that quality and attention to detail are priorities here. Whether you’re looking for a great night out or a special dining experience, Mortons delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!

A true Brazilian Churrascaria, Texas de Brazil does not disappoint! The meat was tender and flavorful. I love the variety (try them all your first time.) My favorites are Picanha, a flavorful Brazilian Steak with a salt & pepper crust, Filet, bacon wrapped filet, and spicy sirloin. The salad bar is enormous and fresh. Their lobster bisque is the best I've had anywhere and the sweet glazed plantains are incredible! The service was prompt, always smiling and willing to answer questions. While the prize is to be expected for unlimited Brazilian Steak, it's a little to pricey to be your regular date night eatery but perfect for special occasions. We go several times a year.
