Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Bethpage

From the moment we sat down Ken our waiter was full of life and energy. He didn't skip a beat. He was attentive and answered all our questions. EVERYTHING about him was awesome. My food was cold and I did mention it politely and he offered for my dish to be done over but i politely refused. I just wanted to let him know that i understood that the kitchen was probably swamped with orders, (hey stuff happens and I understand)....anyway he was very apologetic and the afternoon continued with a great dance party. I will say one thing, the volume of the music could def be turned down a decibel or two. Yes, we are there to dance, but when you have to scream at your friends during lunch just so they can hear you is a bit annoying. My throat hurt at the end of the afternoon. I am planning to come back and I hope the music is a bit better for the ears.

First time dining. We liked the ambiance outside and inside immediately. Staff was courteous and friendly. Seating was spacious and comfortable and music was not loud but upbeat. There were specials for Valentine's Day weekend. My wife much to my pleasant surprise chose the duck tacos as her appetizer which was great because then I got to sample one as well and we both agreed that they were a keeper. Sushi was up next which was fresh with just enough flavor and "zing". We love sushi. My wife judges each establishment by her main course of branzino and half-way through announced that we would indeed be returning. I had a veal chop which came "old school" Italian flatter than a pancake, bigger than the plate, and invisible under a sea of greens. I never knew veal could be that tender. Before I knew it, my plate was empty, but not before my wife could not stop sampling the salad topping. Desert was a pleasant surprise of apple beignets. We love anything that reminds us of dining in New Orleans. With a bottle of French wine, all was savory and satisfying. I would put this Eisenhower Park oasis on your dining list. This is an update to a previous post where I gave a zero rating. I had the opportunity to dine here once again. Since my last dining experience, they hired a new General Manager to correct the issues they were having. While the food before was sub par there certainly has been a marked improvement and is excellent. The terrible service we had prior was a completed turn around. Juan and Lin treated us if we were family and royalty. Their attention not only to us but every other diner around us was impeccable. The new General Manager Joey came to the table several times making sure both the food and service was up to Scotto’s standards. My previous rating of zero is now a 5. Joey, Juan and Lin made sure our dining experience was top notch and an enjoyable evening both by the service and food. I will definetly go back.

First time in the igloo. Had a great experience. It was a little colder than I thought it would be but it was fine. We went for my son’s birthday and nothing really excites him but he loved it! He kept saying how happy he was that we went there! Staff were super friendly, our waiter was pleasant and seemed like a very hard worker. Overall great experience and I plan on going back!

All good except they asked us to be finished by a certain time to seat another party. I think it was unnecessary to ask that. We were done in plenty of time
