Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Selden

We came here for our birthdays and we were incredibly blown away by the service and the food. We had shrimp and lobster wontons and the miso mustard was 10/10. Then for entree we had the petite filet and waygu hanger, both outstanding. Sides were whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. I would highly recommend this place the food was just amazing.

Went on a Wednesday night to celebrate my moms 60th birthday .It was pretty packed but still was seated right away and overall service was still top tier and the food was delicious great quality and portion size was big.

My wife and I had an excellent meal last night at The Halston. Started with some wine from a fairly extensive but reasonably priced beverage list and proceeded to order a Tuna Sashimi appetizer followed by 2 entrees that we shared which were the prime sirloin steak and the Nova Scotia salmon. The steak came to the table sliced into about 15 slices and cooked perfect to medium rare. The salmon was broiled and came with some roasted corn. We ordered some creamed spinach as well and shared a brownie for dessert. Our server Chris was attentive but not bothersome and all in all, a great meal. We will return for another meal in the near future.

The restaurant was able to accommodate our large group of 15. The service and food was great - I would come back if I’m in town.

On Thursday night they have wonderful live music. The food is terrific. The moscato on the wine list is unbelievably delicious. The tuna appetizer is a perfect opening. It sits on a bed of fresh vegetables.The fries that accompanied the filet mignon are addictive. The owner is so amicable and attentive and warmly welcoming. We spilt an appetizer of tulip flowers made even more scrumptious by the accompanying dip. Branzinos is a great find.
