Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio.     Great experience if you want a fun party! Definitely not your place for a quiet dinner. We got seated 45 minutes after our reservation time unfortunately, but we’re given a glass of Prosecco to wait. The food was great, but not the best I’ve ever had. The focaccia to start was probably my favorite thing we had! I thought the pricing was reasonable considering the ambiance and the entire entertainment experience you get. Would return!

    As always (I have been there several times), great atmosphere, great views, good food and good service. Unfortunately, this time they were out of or dis not offer several things our party asked for - white tequila (not crystal), white wine (neither by the bottle nor by the glass), alcohol-free beer. I enjoy being able to smoke a cigar there though!

    Super cute and vibey spot. I had the octopus and shrimp from the robata- might have been the best octopus I’ve ever had. The martinis were delicious especially with them being only 100$ - still high quality. The music was good, loved hearing some classics from Mos Def and Aaliyah. I might return this week while I’m still in town!
