Best Seasonal Restaurants in Welland

Derek was an attentive and personable server. The meals were delicious, and our table for six was positioned/situated so no one was left out on an end. Very inclusive. There's a reason I've been making The Keg a go to for the last 45 years!

Great experience. Will be back. My only critique is the temperature of the meals. The meals were coming out cold. It would have been five stars across the board if the meals were much warmer. The fresh meatballs that was provided was the perfect temperature. It was hot enough. That would be the best way to serve the dishes. My favourite was the lamb, so tender but I wish it was much hotter in terms of Temperature not spice. The fish was a bit dry, maybe it was under the heat lamp for too long and that took away some of the moisture but otherwise the fish was good. Perfect amount of seasoning. The wine was delicious. I’m mostly a Shiraz or Pinot Noir person but this wine was so smooth. I took the leftovers home. The steak was good, the chicken was delicious. I’ll make sure not to eat before I visit again so I can eat more.

We went to celebrate 2 birthdays close together. The food was OUTSTANDING! Would return again in a heartbeat! Our guests were from out of country and they enjoyed themselves completely. Thank you so much for this memory!

I booked a reservation for 8pm on Saturday the 23rd, obviously a very busy time, unfortunately I ended up waiting approximately 20 minutes before placing even my drink order, the positive turn was my server was immediately apologetic and proceeded to provide amazing service from then on, the food was extremely good, I had a caesar salad, maple salmon and turtle cheesecake. Being at the restaurant at 8pm let me see the fireworks over the falls which was a real treat. Being a busy Saturday things were a little loud ambience wise, but it's to be expected. Overall it was a good experience, hope to visit again.
