Gilson offers an all day menu focusing on Italian cuisine and seasonal flavours. A neighbourhood favourite due to its relaxed setting, friendly staff, fabulous drinks list and dishes such as the ‘avocado bruschetta’ for breakfast, the ‘Seafood Linguine' for lunch or dinner, and a 'tiramisu' for dessert. Wood fired pizza is also available for lunch and dinner cooked in the custom built oven.Gilson's brunch service is available for walk-ins with reservations available from midday.

    The atmosphere is warm and inviting, reminiscent of a cozy family gathering. The standout dish was the Parrillada, it had a perfect blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. The seasonal kombucha was a delightful complement, offering a refreshing contrast. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. Unique to this restaurant is their emphasis on seasonal ingredients, which really shines through in each dish. The drink selection was varied and reasonably priced, making it easy to find the perfect pairing. I would definitely return to explore more of the menu. We've dined here several times and will undoubtedly return for more. It never ceases to delight us!

    One of our very favourite places to enjoy some wonderful Italian food and soak up the fantastic atmosphere. Stunning food, wonderful home made pasta dishes, fantastic wine - a wonderful gem of a restaurant. It is our quick visit to Italy, I close my eyes, taste the pasta and I am back in Italy.     Quite simply one of the best, if not, the best Greek restaurant in Melbourne. Great food, exceptional service and a great drinks list. The cocktails, in a particular, are first rate.
