The Coffee Club celebrates more than three decades of good food, great service and excellent coffee.Like all good stories, it began with a quest. On a 1989 evening in Brisbane, founders Emmanuel Kokoris and Emmanuel Drivas cruised Brisbane in search of an excellent coffee, but came up empty handed. Inspired by a gap in the market, they formulated a plan to take the world by storm – to create more than just somewhere for people to meet for coffee. A casual, comfortable and affordable experience, yet sophisticated and stylish. The Coffee Club was born, opening its first store in Brisbane that same year.From 1990, new director John Lazarou spearheaded a targeted marketing plan aimed at putting The Coffee Club front and centre for the world to see. Could not recommend Roy’s enough. Staff were very welcoming and hospitable with incredible service. The chef and owner, Lloyd, made the most delicious combination of locally sourced foods. It was the best restaurant experience I have had in a long time and I really look forward to going back!
