The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. Once known to the locals as “The Old Orchard House”, we really are a hidden gem on Cricketers Lane in Warfield, just a short drive from Ascot Racecourse, Legoland and Bracknell. We are family friendly and also happy to welcome dogs into our bar and garden areas as we always have a jar of dog treats in the porch. Whether you want to warm yourself in the sun outside in the summer with a glass of Pimms or enjoy a perfect pint of cask conditioned real ale in front of a real log fire in the winter, the Cricketers is the perfect place for a drink.     Staff is just perfect, they’re attentive and friendly. Food was amazing and it’s great to see more vegan options, 2 other companions said that’s the best beef wellington they had. Well done everyone!

    All of the team working on the morning of 15th February 2025 were delightful, polite and attentive. We could not have asked for better service. Food was delicious and delivered promptly. Atmosphere lovely (except one child having a meltdown which was managed admirably by the parents). Thanks to everyone who served us and cooked for us.

    This is a great place to visit - the service is lovely, the good delicious and the ambience stylish and cosy. I meet a friend here - neither of us are local but this is about half-way and it's consisistently good. Highly recommended.

    We live locally. This is the first time we've eaten at The Rose & Crown. This was a last-minute booking, so we felt lucky to get a table. We received excellent service and delicious food that was such good value. We will definitely be back again and already look forward to trying something else on the menu.

    Great venue with chilled vibes and an extremely friendly, helpful team who ensured we were looked after. Premises were clean and tidy and the food was great tasting and excellent value for money. Will definitely return.
