You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. Our famous Mediterranean warmth and relaxed ambience welcomes work mates and first dates, quiet drinks, and family celebrations.A selection of wines have been selected by Sicilian sommelier and Italian wine expert Virgilio Gennaro and cocktails are designed by Regan Fernandes to compliment the fresh, coastal flavours that will revolve around seasonal and local availability. The Poisonnerie was suprb The service was fantastic and it was a beautiful day so having lunch outside on the Thames was a wonderful experience as was meeting my second daughter totally unexpectedly

Amazing fresh food with friendly, attentive service in a lovely setting. The noise levels were really low as well. Definitely would recommend.

Gilbey's is the perfect place to stay and eat on a trip to Eton and/or Windsor. Comfortable, quiet, and spacious accommodation; lovely restaurant with delicious, inventive, and reasonably priced food; and courteous and helpful service.
