The Ferry Inn is a serendipitous country public house with welcoming staff, character rooms, candlelight, open fires, real ales, popular foods and fantastic sunsets. A 17th Century former smugglers haunt-- this is a pretty little pub in a lovely marshland setting with tables and benches on the front terrace and in the back alongside the riverbank. Inside it's very easygoing and chatty. Consistently great place for any occasion, did not disappoint this time either. Menu was as creative as ever, staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable and gave some good wine recommendations. Great to see even more local wine on the list too.

We had a fantastic dining experience at the Landgate Bistro. The food was exceptional and perfectly crafted and presented. Every mouthful was an exquisite. The service was also first class, we were very well looked after, not rushed and it didn’t feel forced, it was genuinely enjoyable in every way. We will be back very soon!

The food was outstanding and very well presented. The dining area is small but laid out nicely but the noise level grew as it got busier so if you require a quieter time then I would recommend a 6pm booking. Lovely to see how well they cater for allergies with an easy to read menu and alternatives. Overall a lovey place to eat and good value for money
