Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Downtown

I haven’t been to McCormick and Schmidt’s for quite a while. We retuned recently before a show at the Benedum. What a delightful time the 5 of us had! We were shown immediately to our table upon our arrival and greeted by Sarah, our server. She was a treat. She was pleasant and attentive without being imposing. Our food was prompt and delicious. It was a lovely evening. We will be back.

As always Ryan took care of us even going out of his way to have a makeshift Shirley Temple station at our table- very nice touch- meal was delicious and made my 50th birthday dinner special- thank you!

Food was delicious! Our service last night was over the top - very attentive! One of our favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh.

Ron insured we had a beautiful evening, my husband and I shared a dish and it was divided on our plates in the kitchen. Beautiful presentation as well. Always a treat to dine here.

We have been to other Mother's Day brunch places, but this was by far the best! The food was delicious, and the stations were spread out so there was no crowding around the offerings. The fact that you could made a reservation for any time (rather than having 2 or 3 seatings) was terrific also, since there wasn't a "rush" to the stations for food. Drink service was a bit slow -- not sure if that was due to the servers or the bartender(s), but that would be my only "complaint." And the photograph and little truffle box was a very nice gesture. We all really enjoyed ourselves, and never felt rushed.
