Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Margate

My fiancé and I were able to enjoy dinner by the windows. We ordered the mussels in red and calamari for appetizers. As for our entrees, we ordered the gnocchis, bolognese, and veal with crab meat to share. All very good! We ended dinner with cappuccinos. Our wonderful waitress then gave me beautiful flowers for Valentine’s Day. Very sweet touch for a Valentine’s Day dinner. Definitely will eat there again!

I haven’t been in Sofia’s since our wedding that we celebrated there - it is a bit far from where we live, but this place has a huge sentimental value to us. Spending almost every summer in Greece, I can attest the food is authentic - the best tzatziki and moussaka I’ve had in my life. The food is certainly giving you that “welcome home” comfort. The Chilean Seabass from the Valentine day menu was outstanding, just perfect! Applause for the kitchen staff! Knowing the restaurant business very well, this place runs like a well oiled machine! Service was attentive and kind enough but not overwhelming, and this is a tough balance to achieve. Our servers were amazing - food was arriving timely, everything was at perfect temperature, we mixed the regular and Valentine’s Day menu items, adding wine flights to accompany - the wine selection was curated to perfection. The ambience is one of its strengths and can easily make you feel as if you’re somewhere in the Mediterranean. Overall, this was a spectacular experience in every aspect, and we surely be back. We’ve never had a bad meal there. Thursday Special lasagna dish was phenomenal. Can’t wait to return on a Tuesday night for the pork special. We had a pizza for an appetizer. Pizza was delicious too. We love the ambience. Elegant yet very comfortable. Service and staff very accommodating and friendly.

The stuffed dats appetizer was delicious. My husband enjoyed the special seafood fra diavalo and I loved the short rib. The only thing missing on this cold night was a cappuccino. Service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect! All in all, a perfect evening.
