Best Date Night Restaurants in Pooler

We were promptly greeted by the hostess and seated before our reservation time. Our server, Hannah(sp?), was fantastic. She provided very detailed descriptions of the wine, specials, and food offerings. She was attentive, but not annoying. Her enthusiasm was refreshing. She was quick to clear our table, when needed. Hannah was very personable and friendly, while remaining the consummate professional, which my husband and I truly appreciated. Our meals, from the appetizers to desserts, were phenomenal. The Chef and his team prepared and presented, in our opinion, Michelin and James Beard quality everything. While the price points are high compared to other restaurants in the Savannah area, Alligator Soul is worth it. Especially because the offerings are exotic and unique, but still “familiar.” We have dined here a few times over the years, pre-Covid. The dining experience is just as exceptional this visit as it had been in the past. We highly recommend Alligator Soul because of the Chef, the Sommalier, and Hannah, our server.

The experience is what you are paying for. The food was hot and expertly prepared. My favorites were the pimento cheese starter and the fillet, mashed potato and the vegetable mix served with the flounder. Service is excellent. The servings sizes were great. This many courses was a lot for me, I couldn't finish each plate in order to save room for the next. By dessert I was stuffed full. I cannot imagine eating all of this and drinking wine and coffee. Overall great meal.

We live in Savanah so we will be back! However, we hope to get a different serve, at least one that you don’t have to flag down and will offer you the des desert menu! We could not get Parker to return back to our table.

I had an amazing time the energy was everything!! Everyone watching the fight it was nothing but good, hype, positive vibes. Good customer service I didn’t have to wait too long for my food and the establishment was packed! My waitress “Seven” was amazing!! She was a sweetheart!! Love her ! Lol Very sweet she had a lot of tables and she was very consistent with checking in to make sure me and my friends were ok! Awesome job D&B !! Great customer service great food and good vibes!!
