Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Epping

We got married at The Old England 18 years ago. Every year we lunch there on our anniversary. As usual the hotel is 5 star, polite staff, amazing food quality and quantity. Thank you everyone.

I can't think of anything to fault in our recent dining experience at Tote. I eat out a lot but I think this is the only restaurant I have visited 5 times. Everything about our evening was spot on, the food, the drinks, the service, the ambience, the attention to detail from the staff in ensuring glasses weren't empty and the timing between the courses was perfect. Consideration of our party with dietary restrictions was amazing too.

Everything was fantastic. However liquid smoke was used on the onion relish on the burger and it was wayyy too overpowering. It hid the flavour of the burger meat. Being wagu it needed more subtle flavourings. 

Loved the eggs Benny and the iced coffee. The vibe of the cafe is great with all the old memorabilia, all very tastefully decorated.
