Best Authentic Restaurants in Sylvan Park & Sylvan Heights

Best meal we’ve had in Nashville! Have heard great things and we weren’t disappointed. Terrific service and food. A tad on the pricey side considering the size of the dish but that’s the only negative. 10/10 recommend.

Maiz De La Vida is excellent ! It was a delicious dining experience that exceeded expectations. It is one of the few new Nashville restaurants that I’ll return to. My husband travels to Mexico frequently and said it reminded him of food from Mexico City, authentic, well seasoned, just enough spice. I highly recommend!

My wife and I were on a trip to Nashville and this place was a Reddit recommendation. I made reservations for a Saturday. The service was great, food was good, and the price was reasonable for a little more upscale Italian restaurant. I had the Pappardelle with Duck Ragu. Phenomenal. My wife had the Bucatini with Charred Cauliflower and we shared the Arancini del Luogo which had some of the spiciest marinara I've ever had in my life. Would recommend. It was super loud with chatter and background noise. The clientele at least on Valentine's Day weekend skewed a little younger, but it was still a nice date night with insanely good service.

I feel like I have been to every fine dining establishment in Nashville, searching for something that would really blow me away. Last night, my fiance and I finally made it to Yolan. As an industry professional, I can usually find one or two things to criticize, but Yolan was amazing. The service was welcoming and professional (Callie was our server and an absolute pleasure), the food was complex but approachable and delicious, and the venue itself was gorgeous. Overall, I’d have to say it was the best meal I’ve had in Nashville period. Thank you for making our Valentines dinner one we’ll never forget!

We had a delightful dinner at DeLuca. Not only was our server knowledgeable and delightful, the food was delicious! We were able to talk to the manager (he went to all the tables) and he too was so kind! We can't wait to go back!
