Best Date Night Restaurants in Canterbury

Favourite restaurant in Sydney - incredible food for the price and such a romantic, cosy vibe. Staff are passionate about the food & wines. Can’t recommend it enough

Had a group booking for 4 girls for lunch and as soon as we all walked in, we are greeted with a smile and also the gorgeous greenery that surrounds us. The interior is full of florals and plants which adds to the atmosphere. We also had a swing chair to sit on with some cute cushions - cute touch. It's not our first time, some have dined here before, but it's still a cool place to visit. After lunch, we stroll through the laneway to see the pink floral set up that is The Chicest Mouse in Paris. Gorgeous! Then a coffee and cake at the cafe next store to top off our experience. It's always lovely to visit the Grounds of Alexandria!

We have an excellent dinner at Maiz. The margaritas were really good, all the dishes were authentic and tasted delicious. The standout dish was the pulpo, it was so tender and the dish had great flavour combinations. The dessert was the only dish we didn't rave about, it tasted like a granola bar with some strawberries and yogurt. Maybe it was an off night! maybe we didn't choose well? It wouldn't stop me from returning though. The customer service was great, and all in all, a lovely evening at reasonable prices.

Yakitori Jin never gets it wrong! The food is fantastic. The owners and staff are the best. The must try dishes are the Kingfish with Apple Salad. Divine! Eggplant with Miso sauce and Sashimi Tacos - Yum! We have been weekly visitors for the past 4 yrs. We've tried others but nothing compares.
