- MMatthewGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoExcellent overall experience. In assessing the likes and dislikes of our group; different people hold their opinion of likes and dislikes- some like music, some don’t or maybe the volume, whatever. The menu while not voluminous offers a range of great stuff- from cheese to a fantastic rotisserie, fresh bread; if you want chicken and a green salad, you can get that too- in my opinion don’t complain ‘if you can do it better at home’, then don’t go out. Three people, no booze but tea and sparkling water- bread comes with cheese, we got two- a spicy feta and a fried one w pistachios, awesome; fried mushrooms, a cabbage salad and a lemon chicken filo pie- then a leg of lamb dish from the rotisserie and a bowl of potatoes, all fantastic- rounded out w a dark chocolate hardened mousse w hazlenuts and a blackberry and candied hazelnut garnish. $158 w lunch for two tomorrow from leftovers. - PPhoebeGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI visited on Valentine’s Day and loved the cozy ambiance with beautiful plant decorations. I ordered the 3 Valentine’s specials: the beet gnocchi, beet burrata, and cod dish, along with the cooked oysters. All were delicious though I was a bit disappointed with the beet burrata, as it had a very tiny amount of cubed beets and at first believed they forgot the beets on the dish. For dessert I had the tiramisu which was fantastic!More infoTerra - Eataly BostonPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Back Bay•4.3
- EEmilyGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoGreat overall experience. We went for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and had their prix fixe menu for the holiday. Cocktails were perfect, ambiance was fun and flirty and the service was impeccable. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine list and helped us pick out a great bottle of white wine we had never tried before. The first of the three appetizers was an interesting take on a salad course that wasn’t our favorite but everything to follow was spectacular. Also, for the south end, I thought pricing was reasonable. We will be back.More infoMIDA - South EndPrice: Moderate• Italian• South End•4.7
- PPeterVIPGreater Boston •41 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoSeasons52 always seems to please, whichever one we have chosen to visit (Massachusetts, Florida, California). On a busy Friday afternoon, we were seated promptly. Despite the crowds, staff were attentive, warm and welcoming. Noise level was not a problem and the pleasant atmosphere adds to the experience . We came here because the food is always good and there is a decent variety of dishes at reasonable prices . Good selection of wines, too. So much to choose from, but the shrimp and grits always hits the spot . While there are many good restaurants in the area, this one is always a safe bet.More infoSeasons 52 - Chestnut HillPrice: Expensive• American• Chestnut Hill•4.8
