Best Date Night Restaurants in Malta

The staff was amazing from the time we stepped in, to when they gave us our checked in coats. Our waiter was very attentive and genuinely friendly. The appetizer almost filled us up, but we had room for the perfectly cooked steak and delicious sea bass. Then we had to have some tiramisu and gelato with a cappuccino since we the ambiance yelled Italian steakhouse. We reserve this place for our special night out. Not really priced for the family.

I had an outstanding experience at Mortons last night. From the moment we booked, the service was exceptional. The manager personally confirmed our reservation, which made us feel truly valued. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening, ensuring everything ran smoothly. As for the food, it was absolutely amazing. Every dish was prepared with care and packed with flavor, making it clear that quality and attention to detail are priorities here. We tried Regent for our first time Valentines Night, so it was a prix fix menu, and let me tell you, it was most excellent. We added to our order caviar to open which was amazing, and shared the chateau briand main course (truly spectacular). Desserts were good, but if I am honest, paled in comparison to the main course and salads to start. Bonus - we got there early and had a couple of cocktails at the bar - great service and interesting drinks. The one fly in the ointment - and I didn’t hold it against them, I was kind of surprised at the low quality of the steak knives they gave us. These felt like Costco’s finest…For such a great restaurant and bar with an elevated presence, the cutlery was head scratching. Again, not holding that against them as prices were great, service was great and the food and drinks, even better. Will be back soon.

My husband and I just purchased the Adelphi hotel residency. We go to Salt & Char quite often. We love,love, love this restaurant. Service, atmosphere to the waitstaff from the minute you walk into the restaurant. Especially Tyler the chef is a very talented and amazing down to earth human. Once of his creation butternut squash soup is to die for and I am hoping that soup will make it to the menu in the very near future.

Excellent waitress, and the chorizo & tomato was ridiculous.
