Best Romantic Restaurants in Sunshine West

We had a lovely table for 3 (the only other option was outside) & my other 2 guests were elderly. They did manage the daunting stairs & the lunch was perfect 👌🏻. Kirsten, Marco, Francesco & others provided exceptional service., no hovering around the table is a bonus, but attentive to our needs. The menu, both food & wine, were perfect- well done chefs. The fact that this quality restaurant is open on a Monday is also a bonus. We are visiting from SA & will send all our friends to dine here. Grazie mille.

I cannot recommend Shelanous Restaurant enough! I pre-booked two months in advance for my husband's birthday, and it was worth every bit of the wait. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. The food was absolutely divine—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My husband was thrilled with the experience, and it truly made his birthday unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an incredible meal, Shelanous is the place to go. Thank you to the entire team for making our night so memorable! I have had the privilege of eating at a few of the highest rated restaurants in the world. I have never had an experience like i had at Attica last night, it was beyond expectations. The ambience when you walk in is simple, elegant with a little bit of obscurity in the artwork to really make it pop. The service was beyond anything i have experienced in Melbourne it was attentive, polite and friendly, the front of house team want to be there and clearly love what they do and were also incredibly knowledgeable of the food they were serving, more so than most chefs. The food, THE FOOD! Everything was divine! Chefs are masters of flavour balance, every single little item was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was perfectly balanced. Big acid hits to delicate flavours and wonderful, adventurous new flavour profiles to try that just delight your tongue. I will end on the food with this. When a chef cooks you a dish that contains ants, that just might be one of the best things you have ever eaten in your life. It does tend to leave you a little speechless with what you think is possible with food. A particular highlight was the soba noodle prawn dish. I just want to say to the chefs that hands down was the most perfect balance of salt to acid ratio I've ever had and I'll be chasing that dragon for a long time to come. Thanks chefs Let's make no mistake, this is, an expensive experience, however a few things to consider. It takes a mountain of people to do this level of service and the quality of staff it requires for this level of perfection... is worth every cent! Do yourself a favour and and go and enjoy

Tasty food, some French and some molecular cuisine techniques and a great display of Australian produce, including finger limes, local Wagyu beef, kangaroo and green ants, as well as a lovely cheese display cabinet....amazing flowers goat cheeses that rival the French ones' would have been nice to include Holy Goat. Wasn't a fan of the Chinese caviar (Russian or Iranian are much better...but wars in both regions may limit the supply), but in the absence of good quality one, it would have been nice to find an alternative ingredient. The first dish was certainly one of the stars as well as the kangaroo. Definitely full after 13 dishes!.... Very nice to invite guests into the kitchen to participate and chat to one of the 15 chefs and see the magic from up close! Overall, a great experience to be repeated.

We ordered a Meze Platter to share its was absolutely delicious especially the home made pita bread.
