The Michelin Starred, Fordwich Arms, located in the smallest town in England, dates as far back as 1828. Draped in ivory and wisteria in the most picturesque location over looking the Great River Stour, the perfect setting for an idyllic summers lunch. The seasonal menus focus on provenance, showcasing the best of local Kentish ingredients, sourced directly from local farms and producers.     My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience at Korean Cowgirl. We opted for the Dirty Board for 2 which had lots of different meats to they and honestly was so so nice. Everything was really smokey and juicy... no complaints! Don't underestimate the portion size, we chose not to get a starter last minute and glad we didn't we even came away with a box of meat that we couldn't finish! The cocktails were also great we opted for passionfruit mojitos, they had lots of different options to chose from. What topped it off was the birthday plate for my boyfriend which was a lovely touch. Our server was also lovely, didn't get her name but was really welcoming! Will be returning

    The most beautiful setting, wonderful cocktails and food and so nice to have a warm comfortable place to sit outside in the winter! Staff are amazing, warm and welcoming and actually take the time to chat and make sure you have everything you need. In my opinion this is the best bar in Canterbury for gathering with friends and family Thank you to the team for making out visit so special

    We have been to this restaurant many times and have always had a great experience. The staff are friendly, and efficient but not intrusive. The food is always wonderful. We had no hesitation on booking here for Valentines dinner as we knew we could trust that it would be a great night out and it was. Thank you to all the staff who make this place what it is. x

    A great addition to the Whitstable food scene. Predominantly seafood sharing plates, all of those we tried we would gladly have again. I particularly enjoyed the chargrilled prawns served with a masala sauce which needs to be bottled and sold everywhere. Didn’t have room for the lobster bisque this time but will return as soon as we can to try it.

    What a beautiful place and a fancy menu that actually tastes good! This is the second time I have been to the Fordwich Arms and both times the food and the service have been second to none. You can get a beautiful fine dining type experience for £250 (including a couple of drinks) that rivals some of the top London restaurants. FIVE STARS
