Sète (named after the coastal town in France) is a wine bar, shop, and kitchen. Our doors opened to the wine bar in October 2022 and the restaurant and garden in July 2023. The seasonal menu focuses on modern European cooking with a heavy French influence, highlighting the best produce Kent has to offer. Wine is certainly at the heart of what we love.     This is an amazing find on our doorstep! It was my partners birthday today and I bought him and his dad for lunch. The service was very personal, and the staff catered for each of our needs beautifully! The food was absolutely outstanding, presented in a wonderful way. The ambience was second to none! Quiet, not rushed, and not all packed into a busy restaurant! Totally and utterly 1 million per cent all round, do not hesitate, just book! You will not be disappointed!

    My friend and I very much enjoyed our lunch. The food was hit and tasty as was the coffees. Reasonably priced with outstanding views over the bay. Polite and attentive staff nothing was too much trouble. Could have been a little warmer, was no means cold, but a a little more warmth wouldn't have been amiss.

    Best roast in Margate by far! Service fab...we love Alex (i think his name is) barman and all the lovely waitresses...wood burner is a touch and just best place to hunker down on a Sunday...love love love
