The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-36 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. We leave tables unreserved in our beer garden and parts of inside for groups of less than 5 people and walk-ins. If you're wanting to make a reservation for 36+ people, please visit our webpage.

We can’t wait for you to experience one of the most unique experiences on the Mornington Peninsula. Before you book, please note the following:Picnics are $30 per head and children's meals can be ordered on the day. Payment is required upon checking in for your picnic experience.Your picnic will include a selection of pizzas, salad and chips, with drinks to be purchased at an additional cost during your picnic. Upon arrival, you will also receive a complementary tasting of our Home Track Apple Cider.Picnic bookings can seat groups of 2 – 12 and are for a maximum of 4 hours. Please book for the exact party size as you will automatically be allocated to a picnic site that best suits your group size.Picnics run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a booking time between 11am - 1pm. Please note we do not accommodate for special time requests.

A place that feels like home.. I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. A place where you feel like a regular from your first visit. A place where you feel like a part of our family. A place you felt you've been before. A place that feels like home.... Ok, so we have fancy wine glasses, twinkling candles, nice chairs and really shiny cutlery, but don't let that fool you... We're humble, both in our service and in our food, and pretentiousness and oversized egos were banished from the premises the day we started trading. We like looking the part, but life's too short for airs and graces...

We are southerners in heart and soul, but we promise to give space to the delicious recipes that Italy proudly offers us and known to the whole world, with pride. Simplicity is our code. Through our dishes we would like to propose to.... The new generations of Italians, Those who emigrated to Australia years ago ,and all those who have interest in experiencing our menu. Breakfast & global dishes made with local produce, plus small-batch coffee, served in a cosy cafe.Overlooking the Rosebud foreshore, Hobson combines art deco charm with the sleek, contemporary style of a modern cafe. The latter may evoke a sense of familiarity among weekenders visiting from Melbourne, but it’s also a solid hint at the pedigree behind this place.The Only Hospitality Group (Bentwood, Stanley and Hotel Collingwood) took over and refreshed the site at the end of 2021, retaining the textured curves and decorative fluting on the building’s historic facade.Inside is bright and airy with polished concrete and soft timbers throughout. The space seats 120 comfortably between two expansive dining rooms, with curb-side picnic tables shaded by beach umbrellas setting the scene outside.
