- RRosieLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOne of us is gluten intolerant & sometimes the menu can be a little restricted but I was pleasantly surprised to find there as plenty of choice. The venue is light & airy with plenty of space between tables. The staff were very polite & well trained & the food, which was delicious, was served on time. We’ll definitely be back.More infoGino D’Acampo NewcastlePrice: Expensive• Italian• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.2
- PPaulEdinburgh/Midlothian •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOne of our favourite go to restaurants. Food was great as always although noticed there are a few supplements to be paid now on certain foods. Eg an additional £20 for fillet steak (it was delicious), an extra £10 for halibut, (it was nice but not worth the extra in my opinion). Only other point was we were told they needed the table back at a certain time which we had no problem with but we had pre booked in advance and we didn’t delay anything, the service was slower than usual but it was busy. We had literally just finished when advised the table was required now. All in all a lovely meal with friends as always. Highly recommend.More infoHibou BlancPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.6
- MMarieNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAbsaloutly lovely food was beautiful, im not a big eater so the portion sizes were just right for me , if you like huge portions then this isnt for you, im also very picky we dine out a lot and one thhing i cant abide is food chucked together looking a mess and no flavour,Vitos food is presented looking like it should like a work of art you can tell the chefs take pride in what they cook and tastes phenonemull, i love how you can see the kitchen and watch them making the food whilst you wait, my only gripe is the seating it feels like your encroaching other diners, your that close you hear every word everyone is saying so iit takes away from what should be a romantic setting which is a shameMore infoVito's OsteriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Sunderland•4.9
- CCalumNewcastle and Northumberland •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFriday afternoon and the joint was jumping in a nice friendly way. Valentines special 5 course taster was chosen so we tried something different rather than choose our fabulous favourites like Souffle , Fresh seafood or Steak. The finesse and flavours are always spot on and this set menu was no different. Fabulous seafood , brilliant beef , and a show piece baked Alaska to finish with aplomb ! As usual the staff were flat out but always friendly and engaging. All in all , it is not cheap but it is way better quality wise and in fact is very good value compared to some of the local so called competitors to be honest. Well worth a try if you have never been. We think of it as a wee monthly treat that we look forward to , savour at the time , and look forward to the next visit.More info21Price: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
