- PPavelLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 1, 2025Overall, the food selection and options are commendable. The service is good—attentive and polite. However, the most critical aspect of this review is the food itself. In Asian cuisine, rice is the essential ingredient in every household, and every respected chef must understand the importance of preparing quality (Kome) rice. Given that a majority of the sushi bar dishes on your menu are based on rice—approximately 80%—it is imperative that it be prepared to perfection. Unfortunately, I have encountered dishes where the rice lacked texture, was underseasoned with sushi su, and resembled congee (for those unfamiliar, that’s porridge) with tinny bites of undercooked as well. This issue has arisen on more than one occasion with my family dining at Oita . Let me be clear; I’m not seeking free food or discounts; that’s not my intention. However, when I’m craving sushi and desire authenticity, I can no longer consider Oita my top choice. The subpar quality of the rice is something that should be acknowledged, as it’s important for restaurants to recognize when customers have valid feedback.More infoOITA Wood GreenPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Bounds Green/Wood Green•4.6

The food was perfect, we loved it. Finally the lovely owner helped us transport my oldest Mum to station what was very respectfully from the gentleman. Thank you again and regarding. THank you for everything. Andrea and family.More infoLakehouse Hungarian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Hungarian• South Woodford•4.8
- TtanyaLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 17, 2025Good value, informal neighbourhood restaurant run by a young, passionate team. The food is a real home cooked offering, accompanied by a reasonably price, well selected set of wines. Every mouthful is delicious, making it hard to choose from the small menu. The ragu was superb. You could taste the quality of the ingredients. Same with hot chocolate pot dessert. No fuss, no pretence. I'll definately be a regular here.More infoFran'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• Hackney•4.6
- SSSimpsonSLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2023I booked a table for 5 and I can honestly say that the review cateogaries have all been afforded a 5 out of 5! First and formost this restaurant provides Authentic Greek cuisine at the highest level. The staff were all extremely amicable and provided assistance with our order throughout including their selection of cocktails! BTW MAI TAI is a fantastic beverage :). I am already planning to dine there sometime in the New Year and would definately recommend you paying them a visit, especially if Greek cuisine is your tipple.
