It could have done with a tiny bit less salt, but otherwise it was perfection, the flavours of the vermouth, the nicely seasoned pomme purée and the jus went so well together and we felt the concept of a non-beef Wellington was exciting and bold. And it worked!! Paired it with a very nice Chenin blanc. Our antipodean waitress was quirky and charming and service was excellent. Yanik the gentleman who looked after us was very welcoming , friendly and a gentleman. We were given plenty of time to select our drinks and food. The food roast lamb was delicious and the portions were Generous. The rest of the menu looked equally inviting and we will certainly visit the restaurant again to try other dishes on the menu. All other staff were very friendly and were always smiling. The restaurant had made a great effort in decorating the place for Valentine’s Day.
