Sarah was willing to assist and provide more information because we just couldn’t decide what to order. The food was tasty and delicious. The service by Sarah was superb and not rushed.More infoGrant GrillPrice: Expensive• Californian• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.8
- JJoiPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoI was with friends celebrating 2 birthdays -- our dinners and service were excellent, although the prices are somewhat expensive and everything is a la carte which can rapidly increase one's bill. However, it was a special event and well worth the splurge. I think our server was Jennifer or Jenny, and she was terrific as were the other wait staff. It was nice that my friends whose birthdays we were celebrating, were each able to select a complimentary dessert for their special day, vs. given a specific dessert for the celebration which is what many restaurants do.More infoGreystone Prime Steakhouse & SeafoodPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.1
- KKylieSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 20, 2024Me and a friend stopped in and sat at the bar. We were greeted right away. All the bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Food was amazing and didn’t take too long. Ambiance was perfect too, not too dark or bright. Shout out to Jad the supervisor for checking in on us and making sure our experience was a positive one. Will definitely be back!More infoFifth and Rose at Pendry San DiegoPrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.5
- MMMarkMvipSan Diego •76 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 15, 2024Nestled on the 34th floor of Symphony Towers, the University Club offers a dining experience that is truly unparalleled. The views alone are worth the visit, offering breathtaking panoramas that are like no other in the city. From the moment you step into the club, the sweeping vistas captivate you, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The culinary offerings are equally impressive. Among the standout dishes, the scallops and halibut fish are my personal favorites. The scallops are perfectly seared, with a delicate balance of flavors that elevate the dish. The halibut is equally exceptional, cooked to perfection with a texture that melts in your mouth. While the ribeye is no longer on the menu, the New York steak that has taken its place does not disappoint. It’s a worthy successor, offering a robust and flavorful experience that will satisfy any steak lover. Membership at the University Club is priced at $340 a month, which grants access to this exclusive dining experience atop Symphony Towers. Given the quality of the food, the unparalleled views, and the refined ambiance, it’s an investment in culinary and aesthetic pleasure that is well worth considering. In conclusion, the University Club Atop Symphony Towers is a gem in the city’s dining scene. Whether you’re here for a special occasion or simply to indulge in a remarkable meal, it promises an experience that combines exquisite cuisine with a view that is second to none.More infoUniversity Club Atop Symphony TowersPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.6
- Bbizbroker619San Diego •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 23, 2023Thanksgiving with the family and the menu was great. Buffet style service with traditional turkey dinner, prime rib, shrimp & crab bar, and so much more. Worth the price and very friendly staff. Took our 2 year old and the staff was very happy to have her. Considering doing this again if we decide not to cook.More infoThe US Grant Holiday CelebrationsPrice: Very Expensive• American• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.5
