Meticulously restored in Ireland and shipped to the US, Ri Ra embodies everything that you would expect from a genuine Irish Pub. Ri Ra comes from the phrase "Ri Ra agus Ruaile Buaile," a phrase translating roughly as divilment, good fun or any sociable activity that improves with fine food, a nice pint of Guinness or dram of Uisce Beatha (whiskey). Ri Ra can be defined as place or state where exuberance and revelry prevail, where music and merriment compete and the conversation flows smooth as the Guinness ebbs in the glass. Slainte!

South End was home to Charlotte’s first railroad line, connecting us to Columbia and Charleston, SC in the mid-1800’s. “Link & Pin” is an old railroad term. A “Link” was installed on one railcar then, as the two railcars were joined, a “Pin” was manually inserted into the other railcar’s link, holding the two railcars together. Since we are in Historic South End and on a light rail stop, we felt the name Link & Pin was a good fit.Dress Code-To ensure a quality experience for all of our guests and to meet our standard of service, we encourage our guests to dress in an elegant, upscale manner that fits our environment. https://www.linkandpin.com/dress-code/

Love The Asbury! We were there for brunch. Food was really good… especially the beignets! Perfectly seasoned and warm! The best thing isn’t the food… it’s Nikki, waitstaff extraordinaire! Her bright, bubbly personality, and her ability to keep many balls in the air at one time is amazing!! She is certainly a credit to the restaurant! The only thing I will note about ambience is that it’s a bit cold in the restaurant. That is partially from the street door opening on cold days without a vestibule to block the incoming air. And that’s because it’s a historic property. But the heat could’ve been turned up a bit to counteract that. Despite the temperature, it was another lovely visit to the Asbury!

A five-star rating is not nearly enough for our recent McNinch experience. We have dined at McNinch house previously and had the best culinary experience of our life. This time was even better. The food was exceptional, just as is it was during our first visit. What separates McNinch House from the other top rated dining venues in Charlotte is the service and atmosphere. The service level at McNinch House is far beyond anything we have ever encountered and was equally exceptional during both our visits. No detail is spared and, combined with the Christmas decor that filled the house, the experience was second to none. On top of it all, the owners were very present with their guests and interacted with all the tables. Their story, along with the unique history of the property, truly made this experience very special. Highly recommend for an intimate dinner and equally perfect for business dinners.

Everything from the service to the ambiance to the food was phenomenal. We started with some things off the holiday menu- the caviar oysters and scallop crudo were fantastic- we literally ordered a second scallop crudo on the spot. The black pepper Tag, focaccia bread, and trout were outstanding as well. This is one of the best spots in Charlotte. Thanks again for the fantastic service Michael!!
