- SSuzanneVirginia •99 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Tea at Floris @ the VMFA is just lovely. This was our second visit. We were greeted warmly and seated at our table for 4 near the fireplace. Because we visited close to Valentine's Day, we were offered a special Valentine's Day menu in addition to the regular tea menu. We stuck with the tea menu but added a glass of Cava. We were celebrating a birthday and they were kind enough to bring a piece of red velvet cake to help us celebrate. It was moist and delicious. Our tea started with a pot of Masala Chai and a pot of white tea (cherry blossom) followed by freshly made (still warm) scone and walnut cranberry bread. These were served with their homemade elderberry spread. So delicious!! Next came the tea service - savory sandwiches and a small piece of quiche which was so creamy and eggy - amazing. The sweets on the tray were beautiful to look at and tasty to eat particularly the cream puff. Our server was attentive and knew the menu well. We can't wait to go again.More infoFloris at VMFAPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Richmond•4.6
- RRachelVirginia •28 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEverything was amazing! I had my 50th birthday brunch with my girlfriends there. We all had a magnificent time. The atmosphere was upbeat and friendly. The food was delicious. The waitress and servers were helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the savory crane for birthday celebrations or to meet with friends for a festive meal in RVA!More infoThe Savory GrainPrice: Expensive• American• Richmond•4.7
- MMICHAELVirginia •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHow to describe my favorite restaurant in Richmond and one of my favorites of all time...the experience starts once you walk in. The music, the art, the names of the dishes on the menu. For a few seconds the sounds and sights are like a roller coaster running full steam, but then everything settles into place and your visit begins to flow. Fresh truffle service tableside? This is the place to do that. Mac and Cheese with Maine Lobster and that truffle service? Sign me up. Swashbuckling Bundt Pirate cake served on a classic Aquaman plate for desert? Yes please. Just don't forget to get your reservation in well in advance. Dress code isn't stuffy, but leave the ball cap in the car.More infoL'OpossumPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Richmond•4.9
- RRonaldVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAlthough we made reservations, we had to wait 20 minutes for our table. It was a very busy Valentine evening. However, Terrant's downtown is always a great place for a nice meal. The atmosphere is great, and the food and service were excellent. A nice little perk is that if you show them your parking receipt, they will deduct it from your check. This is definitely a great place for lunch or dinner.More infoTarrant's DowntownPrice: Moderate• American• Richmond•4.4
- SStevenVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThere were 5 in our party. We all enjoyed our food, drinks, and the service. Not one crumb left on our dinner plates or our desert plates. Waitress had a wonderful and personable personality.More infoGrandstaff & SteinPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Richmond•4.4
