- SScottNew Orleans / Louisiana •23 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Audubon Clubhouse is perhaps off the beaten path, but it has become a first-class dining destination since Dickie Brennan’s organization took the helm. It’s not super fancy, nor is the menu particularly cutting edge, but the kitchen knows what it is doing— everything is perfectly cooked and presented. Service is generally excellent, but our server asked if she could “get this out of your way” when our plates were virtually empty and had upside down forks on them. That’s a phrase that never belongs in a restaurant of this caliber. The setting, overlooking the live oaks on the golf course, is beautiful and tranquil, especially when it’s warm enough to dine on the porch.More infoAudubon Clubhouse by Dickie Brennan & Co.Price: Moderate• American• Uptown•4.4

Our group of 6 for brunch ordered varied items from the menu and every one was wonderful from appetizer cocktails and crab beignets to entrees waffles and crab/ brie open face sandwich. - AAmyNew Orleans / Louisiana •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe best thing about this dining experience by far was our waiter, Mason. He was extremely fun and engaging. Witty and all around pleasant. I just cannot say enough good things about him and hope managment see this and give him kudos. He was probably the best waiter I have ever had. The dining room was not crowded and the food was very good, except for my husband’s ribeye which was a bit overcooked and not very tender, and they did comp us his port at dessert as an apology, which was lovely of them. Everything else about the evening was wonderful. We received an amuse-bouche to start and were each sent home with a box containing two flavors of scones as a lagniappe. My friend and I had the short ribs pappardelle and they were excellent, and we shared a burrata with balsamic pearls and air bread which was spectacular. My husband’s app was the Summertime Surprise, a fried soft shell crab, which he said was “sublime” and the presentation was quite beautiful. It was a quiet dining room with the hotel bar adjacent, so we could hear lots of good music and revelry coming from there which enhanced our experience but didn’t intrude on it. We enjoyed the mural of Jackson Square with famous folks drawn into it, and when we mentioned our interest in it to Mason, he brought Ken, the resident expert on the hotel’s murals, over to answer our questions. Overall it was a lovely evening of upscale dining with really phenomenal service.More infoThe Grill RoomPrice: Very Expensive• American• Central Business District•4.8
- JJesseVIPNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoFirst time at Luke before a proposal! New brunch spot for us. Wait staff, management, and food were all above par. Murder point oysters were great and you could tell they cleaned the shells which you don’t see often. Pork belly app melted with each bite in the best way. Shrimp and grits/green tomato Benedict were unreal. Big thank you to all the Luke staff for being an unforgettable part of our very special day.More infoLukePrice: Moderate• French• Central Business District•4.6
- JJanVIPIndiana •68 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe came for Valentine’s Day and had a lovely time, as usual. We did not order the prix fixe dinner but instead ordered off the regular menu. My husband had gumbo, and the red fish, and a side of fried Brussels sprouts. I had the starter raviolo as my main with a side of charred green beans. Delicious! Thank you, Atchafalaya, for another wonderful evening.More infoAtchafalaya RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Garden District•4.9
