Best Vegan Restaurants in Cutler Bay

I’m just a little disappointed with the food. The food there used to incorporate everyone. I only eat seafood and vegetarian items. They got rid of a lot of things I can eat and I felt very limited. They said they change their menu every 6 months so I’ll go back then and hope to see more options for people that don’t eat meat.

I’m pescatarian, but my friend is vegan. Sometimes dining at restaurants that exclusively meet her diet, I’m ill-impressed at the taste/texture of the food. PLANTA is a clear exception as their food is incredibly tasty, and I would think would please most anyone (who isn’t determined to bite into a juicy piece of beef😉).

Victor was very attentive but there were some problems with our meals. There were eight of us and one friend ordered avocado toast, and it was so hard, it was like a rock and could not be eaten easily. Another friend ordered an item off the brunch menu and was brought scrambled eggs by mistake instead, so that had to be sent back and remade. My toast came without butter so that had to be requested. It was overall good but quite a few issues.

It was our first time trying Indian food. I'm glad we ventured outside our comfort zone. We were pleasantly surprised with the great tasting dishes. We asked the waiter to go easy on us with the spices and he went outside the normal menu and got the chef to make us two special dishes (that was awesome service). The lamb dish was very good, they didn't have that gamey taste. The chicken dish was made with 3 different types of sauces (awesome too)! The rice was amazing (best rice I have ever had). Definitely will be coming back.
