- SShelettevipEast Texas •24 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe visited to celebrate the man’s birthday. We arrived early since we planned to visit a couple of other places afterward. When we got there, it was fairly empty, but it didn’t stay that way for long. The space is really spacious. We dined in the main dining room, and the service was excellent. The host, servers, and manager were all very friendly. For appetizers, we ordered the wagyu pigs in a blanket and pepperoni and sausage pizza. I had a shot of tequila, while the man enjoyed an Old Fashioned and an IPA. The appetizers were delicious. I couldn’t decide if I liked the honey mustard crème sauce that came with the pigs in a blanket, but I definitely enjoyed them without the sauce. For our main dishes, we had the roasted salmon and steak frites. The salmon had a perfectly crispy top layer and was cooked to a perfect medium. It was delicious! It came with butternut squash farro, which I wasn’t sure how I felt about, but it was interesting. The steak frites were flavorful and also cooked to a perfect medium. Very tasty. Unfortunately, we had no room left for dessert. We spent about $190, including the tip. After we paid, we went to check out the rooftop. It was stunning—spacious, with tables and seating perfectly arranged to showcase the beautiful city skyline and lights. We grabbed two more drinks at the bar and soaked in the view, spending another $35 with tip. We would definitely return and plan to opt for rooftop dining next time. Highly recommend!More infoCulinary Dropout – DallasPrice: Moderate• American• Design District•4.5
- JJoelvipDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoEverything Duro Hospitality does is a hit, and The Charles is no exception! The service was impeccable, the drinks were top notch, and the food was delectable! We had a large party and showed up to the back bar an hour before for pre dinner drinks and they were so accommodating to take care of us and always kept us informed of the table. They treated the birthday guest to an amazing glass of champagne, and made the whole experience amazing. Charles was our server and he was great! Nate the Manager on duty as well as his whole staff was absolutely amazing. We will be back so many more times, and I am so happy that Duro has this gem in their repertoire!More infoThe CharlesPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Free to Repurpose•4.8

The blacked shrimp and grits, catfish, lambchops, and the fried chicken all came out timely, hot, and perfectly prepared.More infoKitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley - DallasPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Southern)• Downtown•4.5

When there was something that didn't quite meet our expectations it was immediately resolved and then some. Expect an incredible meal creatively done and memorable.More infoSwank A Neighborhood RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Oak Cliff / Bishop Arts•4.8
- CCrystalDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024The food and service was fantastic! This was a last minute find before an event at the AAC. Made a reservation and was extremely pleased we did. My only complaint was how loud the music was. We ate early and think we were one of 2 tables at the time but we could hardly hear our own conversation. It didn’t take away from the experience though. The pricing was a bit high, coming in at $360 ( after tip ) but not shocking. I had a ribeye that was perfectly cooked and seasoned with a baked potato. My partner had the chef special which was steak and lobster tail with a crab sauce. 2 cocktails and 2 bottles of still water.More infoThe Liam's SteakhousePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.4
