Amici Italian Restaurant, located on the corner of A1A and 312, has been part of the St. Augustine community for over 20 years. In 2020, local Award-winning Chef Freddy Underhill and his wife, Jennifer, purchased Amici with the hopes of carrying on it's legacy. However, 6 days in, they were shut down for dine-in service due to COVID-19. The new owners were motivated and are proud to have remained open to serve St. Augustine and the many visitors travelling through each year. Best known for their traditional Italian-American classics like lasagna, parmigiana and alfredo, locals love the Pancetta Candita (aka Candied Bacon) and the Boozy Tiramisu. We had a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner at the Columbia. Our waitress was excellent, even though she was very busy she made sure to check on us frequently and attend to all of our needs. I don’t remember her name but it was her birthday on Thanksgiving. The restaurant was decorated beautifully as always at this time of the year. We had a great table in the enclosed patio. It was pretty noisy but that is expected with all the large groups and just adds to the holiday atmosphere! We come here often as we live here and are never disappointed!

The food was delicious and excellent customer service. The dip with the fried artichokes was good on anything and the artichokes had a very light coating on them. Best grilled fish sandwich I have had on fresh Cuban bread - nice and thin so it didn't overwhelm the tastiness of the fish. Nice decorations for the Holidays. Overall good experience.

Haven’t enjoyed a meal so much since before Covid. From the moment we walked through the door we were treated like royalty. Franco was attentive to our needs and courses came out in perfect timing for our romantic date night. Enjoyed my rack of lamb, perfectly done along with my husband’s filet. Best goat cheese appetizer for two followed by a warmed lettuce salad. Wonderful sorbet between courses. Very special evening with great memories.
