Michelin Guide rated neighborhood restaurant with creative and shareable cuisine and a year-round patio."With a clear vision, a striking aesthetic and distinctive, mouthwatering flavors, Canon restaurant in East Sacramento is a stellar and welcome addition to the city’s dining scene." - 4-Stars, Sacramento Bee "Find the convivial Canon sequestered away from the downtown bustle. This cool space that contrasts deep tones against bright whites is enveloped by the aromatic smell of smoke, so it’s no surprise that the house is packed most nights. Chef Brad Cecchi is the culinary mastermind and his menu is pivoted around playful small plates." - Michelin GuideCanon is committed to a healthy and productive workplace. A 4% service fee is added to dine-in bills to help cover the cost of employee health and wellness benefits and to provide a kitchen equity stipend to our back-of-house staff.

Excellent food, service and we would return again. The additional fee for health and wellness was inappropriate and I was told it was correct. My information said otherwise.

This was my first time dining at Zinfandel Grille & they certainly did not disappoint! I took my fiancé for a birthday treat and requested a separate seating arrangement with a little extra special touch if they possibly could. They arranged this cute floral arrangement at our table and gave a complimentary dessert! I honestly think any kind little gesture is amazing & providing your guests/customers with the best service shouldn’t go unnoticed . Food & drinks were amazing ! A little pricey but worth paying for.🌼

I got the five course meal. It was pretty good. The portions sizes are decent sizes so I’d recommend getting the 3 or 4 course instead. I was was full by plate 3.

Season 52 just does a very good job! Since we had early reservations we sat on the bar side in a booth and were able to enjoy the happy hour menu. So, my wife had a glass of wine with a flatbread for $14! I had a happy hour drink along with the tuna tartare. We shared the flatbread and tuna and then even had one of the desserts! All this for under $50! Just a great little dinner for the two of us! Great value and great food!
