Best Lunch Restaurants in Ada

Had our Valentine’s Day dinner in the igloos and it was a remarkable experience! They provided us with a speaker to really set the mood and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend!

As a featured dish for Valentine's night, they offered a surf and turf entrée with a langostina and baguette steak. My wife just preferred the seafood so we asked if the chef would do perhaps 2 of the langostina instead, which our waitress came back and said they would be happy to change. Well unfortunately when they presented her plate, there were 2 ridiculously small langostina that looked terrible plated. As my wife tried to make happy about her presented dish there was so little meat on these 2 that I mouse couldn't have made a meal of this! Without trying to ruin our whole dining experience, I shared my plate and wrapped up a poor dining experience to say the least. It shocks me to think the kitchen would send out a plate that presented so poorly!! I know they had a long evening for the holiday but honestly this was the worst plated meal I've ever seen. Will have to think long and hard before we go back.

We had a perfect experience on Valentine’s Day! Our reservation was at 5:00 pm and we were seated promptly. Our server was polite and quick. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and our kids enjoyed their meals. The s’more dessert was top notch! We bought a bottle of wine to take home for the evening. Thank you for another great experience at this location!

This was our first visit to The Post Tavern inside the Ada Hotel. I am not easily impressed, but I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The space itself has a lot of natural light shining in, which balances some of the dark, modern interior finishings very well. The service was amazing, and the food was top notch. My partner had the Shepherd’s Pie, and I had the Lobster Mac. Both were delicious and of high quality. The plating of the Shepherd’s Pie was especially beautiful, and I was very pleased with the amount of lobster in the Mac. Highly recommend visiting The Post Tavern!
