Best Casual Restaurants in Coatesville

We love Anthony’s so I knew this is where I wanted to go for my birthday. There was a slight mix up with our reservation because Anthony’s was also hosting a private party upstairs, so we had to wait a bit but the owner was so sweet and worked on getting us seated as quickly as possible. Our favorite thing to order is the Burrata- it is absolutely wonderful. It’s fresh, a nice mix of flavors, and a really large portion. My husband got chicken carbonara and I got the special pasta- Tuscana pasta with chicken. Again- wonderful. Our server, Jackie, was amazing and all of the staff- bus boys, food runners, hostesses etc. are constantly working hard to make sure everyone is attended to. The owners are very kind, welcoming and attentive to their customers. Despite having to wait, it was totally worth it and will be back many times!

Way too much fun tonight. Food was fantastic and the vibe is very good. Went on a Friday night 8PM reservations. Reservations recommended. Menu - Chilean sea bass - Branzino whole fish - Calamari — in Downingtown. - Hummus - Greek salad - Raspberry cheesecake and chocolate ice cream - Mek tek dessert. - Coffee “This is the best branzino I’ve ever had” “This place will be easy to come back to. This food is great they probably get that a lot.” “This Greek salad is incredible” “These potatoes and spinach are to die for ” Service was great. So was the service.

I have been to brookside several times and always leave satisfied. And mio was very good and my table mates enjoyed their meal. Also. Our server was very good, quite professional. I have Celiac and I'm always concerned that I will have cross-contamination issues but I've been fine every time. Thank you.

So excited to have gotten to try out Downingtown's newest food venue! Can't say enough about the whole experience! The food was delicious and our waiter was great! We sampled their cobb salad/risotto/ pizza and seafood dish. All had their own spin and take- highly recommend this newest gem but get your reservation in early as they book up for regular table times!!

Really enjoyed our birthday dinner! Food and service was outstanding and the experience is engaging. It is a bit noisy, but not overwhelming. Definitely worth a try!
