Very large shareable portions. Very pleasant meal. Well paced and never rushed. Excellent food and wine pairings.

Our server was very pleasant and thorough but almost too efficient. Bread plates were removed before we finished the bread basket (which they charge for). It made us feel rushed.

This was our second time dining at Forty Nine Forty, and once again, it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the tone for a memorable experience. Our waiter went above and beyond to make our evening special, adding a personal touch to the celebration of my birthday. His attentive service and recommendations truly enhanced the dining experience, making it even more enjoyable. The Pistachio Espresso Martini was absolutely delightful – a perfect balance of flavors with a smooth, rich finish. Every dish we tried was exceptional, but the standout by far was the Curry Meatballs. They were packed with bold flavors, perfectly spiced, and the texture was spot on. We were so impressed that we couldn’t resist ordering a second round. The combination of spices, tender meat, and the sauce was simply unforgettable. Overall, Forty Nine Forty once again proved why it’s one of our favorite spots.
