Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. Fantastic service from start to finish. We ordered the sharing plate and one of the pieces of beef came out raw in the middle. They quickly swapped it and give us probably 5 times the amount as an apology. This was one of the tastiest and juicy pieces of beef I've ever eaten in my entire life. My girlfriend was then struggling to decide which desert to buy. She eventually decided to order the cheese cake, however then to our surprise they brought out a complimentary bread and butter pudding as an anniversary present for us. What a nice extra touch they added. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the service!

My husband ordered the fish pie and it was unavailable; the server should have stated this when we sat down. I asked for the chipotle mayo on the side as it can be quite hot and spicy; I got mayo on the side but they still put it in the burger.

The fact is we were running 15 mins late I rang and was assured that the table will be reserved for us. When we got there the atmosphere was electric . They gave us a seat at a corner table and were obstructed from seeing the centre stage . We kindly asked to be moved and they did move us to a more suitable booth. The food was delicious , I ordered Sea Bass and I can say one of the best I have tasted so far. Entertainment was really good.
