Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. Had a smashing lunch with a friend. First time visiting other than for a Sunday roast. Place was buzzing. Thoroughly enjoyed my ribeye, beef dripping chips and broccoli and walnut salad with a nice bottle of red. Good service and not rushed. Very decent value too Will be back.

Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was great. Wine list is exceptional for a pub. Service was hospitable but lacked a bit of attention (fork never came for one guest, sat with dessert menus for 30+ minutes, etc). In any case, will be back and already looking forward to it.

I recently visited Blacklock in Canary Wharf with three friends, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, and the service was truly exceptional. Our waiter, Marcell, was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Manager Angel also came by to check on us, adding a personal touch that we really appreciated. The food was top-notch—delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. From start to finish, everything was just fab! Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.
