- LLiaLondon •4 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was great, and the ambience was calm, with conversations and the usual restaurant noise, which was nice. The only down-fall was the service. It was slow and rather inattentive. We first ordered the drinks, and they send us the wrong drinks, once this was changed; We received the mains, however, the cutlery was not changed and we had to stand up and ask at the bar/staff section to change this for us (after trying to call the waiters to change this for us). After the mains, we also had to wait a long time before they would ask us if we wanted any desserts or coffees. We ordered lovely desserts! However, before we did, the waiter brought us one menu of the Bar Nibbles, instead of three dessert menus... Once we finished our desserts, we asked for the bill (which we also had to stand up to get as no waiters were looking around the tables)... and to our surprise, the bill was also wrong, which we flagged to the manager (also having to stand up, instead of the staff looking around the tables). I went back to the table hoping that they would bring the corrected bill... which never really came! We had to ask if we could pay before we left!! (some other people might not do this and it'd be a business losing money!) Instead of the waiter taking the payments, they simply left us with the card reader for us to sort out!! At that point we were truly considering not paying.... It was the cherry on top. It's a shame as the food is lovely and the atmosphere is great! But the service was truly poor and not up to a minimum standard.More infoBrixPrice: Expensive• Grill• London Bridge•4.1
- FFaycalLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful evening celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We selected a special Iftar menu and were made to feel very welcome the service was excellent. The food was excellent too, and the dessert was lovely. However, there is one drawback: the music is not enjoyable. Whatever happened to nice, romantic family-friendly music? Please consider choosing better music. Thank you!More infoGallioPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Canary Wharf•4.4
- DDianaLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Mar 5, 2025We have been to Franklins a few times and it never disappoints. The food was wonderful, they always have something new in their daily menu and flavours are always full of depth and just delicious. The set menu is a steal, the desserts are always a highlight. We always make sure we save space for them. The service was great and is nice and quiet during lunch time at week days. We wish we lived closer so we could come more often.More infoFranklinsPrice: Expensive• British• East Dulwich•4.4
