Best Casual Restaurants in Wimbledon

A great new local spot. Lovely ambience, impeccable service and most importantly delicious food. We will definitely be returning.

The Valentine's Day set menu was absolutely delicious and incredibly good value with generous portions. My girlfriend and I both had the mushroom risotto to start which was wonderfully creamy but not too rich or stodgy. Just perfect. We shared the lamb chops for a main. They were very generous with five big cuts between us, each cooked to just the right level of pinkness. It was on a bed of what I think was Ratatouille which was very tasty (there was so much we couldn't finish it) and very crispy roast potatoes on the side. The puddings, a chocolate torte and a strawberry raspberry coulis with meringue were fantastic and complimented each other well to share. The chocolate was incredibly rich but not overpowering and the fruity pudding was a tasty pallette cleanser. The service was great. The woman serving us was very nice and attentive especially considering how busy the place was.

We had a fantastic meal at Upstairs and can’t wait to come back. Our waiter Jack was fabulous & further his awareness of allergens was spot on and really put me at ease as a coeliac. Thank you so much!

We have always enjoyed our outings to Antica Bologna, just wish we didn’t live so far away or we would be there more often. The food is really delicious (always eat far too much) and the service excellent. Look forward to our next visit.

We opted to share tasters. So somewhat small plates overall. Tasty and good value.
