The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this. We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country.     Amazing experience. Food incredible (pigs tails and steak tartar especially). The staff were so good and went out of their way to make it special. Sit at the counter if you can!

    Our first time at The Hawthorn. Was a lovely restaurant. Greeted by very helpful polite staff. Very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Efficient and professional. Pleasant and polite. I had the flat iron Steak with peppercorn sauce and crispy skin on fries. Absolutely delicious. Couldn’t find fault. Service was very prompt. The fries were the best I’ve ever tasted. My husband had the Burger with fries and he really enjoyed it too. Plenty of choices from the wine and beverage section. Prosecco was very nice as was the Ilkley beer. We didn’t have room for desert. Again nice choices from a traditional menu. Very nice indeed and we will definitely be returning.

    Food options was excellent, lots to choose from, caters for all dietary requirements. Food quality 10/10. Very tasty and fresh. Cocktails lovely. Offers excellent. Staff went above and beyond. We were celebrating a birthday and they acknowledged this with decorations and a gift (free shot). Perfect dining experience. Great value for money. Could not fault it. Will definitely be back. Staff really made our day. Thank you so much!
