Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Rock

With live music playing (Alex Hart was wonderful), the warm, welcoming atmosphere, friendly service - attentive but not overly so - and a delicious meal, we all hugely enjoyed our evening. Thank you to the team at the St Tudy Inn!

We had a wonderful meal at The Tartan fox. Amazing service, suoer waitresses and waiters, and great food. The only problem, is the chips were too oily, and tasted like they had been fried about 5 times. And made me feel ill. And it was very expensive for half a cabbage on the plate. As you have to pay extra for sides. But the taste is exquisite so you don't mind too much. Just mainly disappointed with the chips.

Best meal I've ever had in my entire life. It was astonishing. Each course was beautifully prepared and intensely creative. The mission of Ugly Butterfly is really strong and can be tasted in every dish. We had a wonderful evening and basically had the restaurant to ourselves. Getting to speak to the chefs was especially memorable for us. Every single member of the team here is exceptional and there isn't an ATOM out of place. We felt so special to get to eat here. If you're on the fence, just go for it.

We choose Springtide for brunch today because of the little, child friendly area, that they have recently set up towards the back of the restaurant. My 3 year old was able to play with the play kitchen, ice cream shop and soft blocks, whilst we got to enjoy our food and coffee whilst it was still hot! The food was delicious, the service friendly and attentive. I hope the child’s play corner is here to stay because it made going out for brunch with a toddler so much easier and we will definitely return.

Great food, location and service. A golden buzzer ‘best of dish’ award for the mussels. You can even see where they are harvested from where you sit—that’s fresh. They were the best mussels and were in a fantastic saffron broth. The best we’ve ever had. Great menu overall.
