Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Datchworth

First time here after knowing and hearing about Smiths for a long time. It was a business lunch and my client loves seafood so seemed appropriate. My guest said the halibut was very good and tasted unbelievably fresh. It’s also nice to see a meat/fish restaurant have a comprehensive veg/vegan menu and a bonus was the food was really good. The tempura cauliflower and goan curry were superb and I will 100% be coming back. It was really busy which meant a nice atmosphere and the staff were extremely attentive.

My daughter has allergies. They went above and beyond to meet hers and our needs. Food portions were great and the ambience made it a great experience and would highly recommend.

Great food, great service. I’ve been in plimsoll before because their burger. I couldn’t come back with some friends to let them try it too. We got 5 burgers but at the end we ordered 3 more with extra cheese and at the end they were even better. My friend was looking for bacon but for me the crunchiness of meat was enough. Very good balance of flavours. I tried many burgers but probably this is the best in London. I was a bit sad realising they removed the green salad with walnuts from the menu cuz it was really good but I understand can be because the seasonal changes etc. Another must to try are the potatoes with aioli. We also got other dishes but I would say these 2 were the best. The pub was full but the service was fast. The kitchen is not big but they are very organised. Same with table service, we had some requests and the blonde girl who served us was really nice and patient haha I forgot to asked her name for the mention Overall a great experience! Thank you guys!

As usual a lovely evening with excellent service and food. Took my brother for his birthday and he certainly enjoyed his Octopus, ribeye steak and chocolate dessert. The complimentary shot at the end was much appreciated.
