Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Uddingston

Great food and great service. Place is all done up nice for Christmas. We’d gone on the day of a rugby match so was really loud and busy and was hard to manoeuvre about with two octogenarians in tow. BUT, that was on us, we didn’t know about the game, and the food and service more than made up for it and we’ll definitely be back.

First time visitor . Booked roof top terrace weeks in advance , knowing it was taking a chance in November. Right enough snow storm hit day of our visit . Staff phoned to make us aware of weather and moved our booking inside ,few hours later another call from staff to say grassmarket had a power cut and phoned again when electricity was back on … visited had a great night ( only drinks didn’t order food) … all made possible by the great communication by the staff … will def visit again

Was really impressed with our experience, we were running a little bit late due to road works but phoned up and they were so lovely and made sure our table would be okay, once we got in the communication about allergies was good and we were provided the separate allergen to keep us right, the food came out so quickly and was incredible, the portion sizes for the price is unbelievable, and the staff were constantly checking up on us. Overall a really good experience and I plan on returning soon

2nd visit, Friday lunchtime latish November, quiet,as good as first visit,had the lunchtime menu, two dishes and side after excellent bloody mary, nice and spicy Smoked trout exceptional as was burnt basque cheesecake, rest very good , including cheapest white wine ! Handy for theatreland, shopping and convenient for ladies who lunch using bus pass ( dont let that put you off, its trendy and good for people watching too}
