All my party of ten really enjoyed the food and the experience at the Pickled Sprout. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. The waiters were competent and polite. I reduced the service to 4 stars because we had to wait a while to order and we were hungry. Some nibbles would have been welcome.

As always the food was amazing. Only constructive criticism is that the Panna Cotta has changed to strawberry Flavour on a Prosecco jelly base, the original version is much nicer. This doesn’t mean it was bad, it was just disappointing. However, overall the food was delicious.

This was a perfect experience from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and expert. Our table was ready and we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The atmosphere was very special - relaxed and comfortable with a lovely festive feel. Staff were keen to help with tea selections from the extensive menu, all served in silver teapots. The afternoon tea was exceptional! A delicious selection of traditional favourites with an elegant twist and the most perfect scones I’ve ever eaten! It was worth every penny and I would say this is a must for anyone visiting Harrogate.

Went for Wifes Birthday we go to Collingham quite often it’s just easy to get to and find staff food and reception fantastic so again had a great evening even brought a cake out with candle

Since going vegan and my taste changing due to Covid, I've literally given up going out for meals because it just doesn't seem worth spending money on food that I probably won't taste or enjoy. However I'm so glad my husband and I went here, it felt special enough for a lovely date night. There was a romantic and quiet ambience, the staff were lovely and attentive. The prices are good and the food is gorgeous! For the first time in a long time, I went out for a meal and I enjoyed everything about it. Thank you Orchid. Xx
