Black-kilted porters escort you to Rhubarb's two oval Regency dining rooms decorated in baroque splendour, with giant chandeliers, silk wall coverings, and ancestral portraits. The menu, created by chef John McMahon, uses classic techniques and modern inspiration to transform ingredients into sublime grub. Really enjoyed our evening meal at the Queen's. It was our first visit and we'll definitely return. Delicious food, great beer, vast range of whiskies, friendly efficient service and a real buzz about the place. Only minor quibble was that the chips were too crispy hard for someone with sensitive gums.

Excellent evening, great food the Galician Chateaubriand was especially good, great service from a very knowledgeable waiter and some special touches made for our anniversary. Restaurant was slightly loud, but it was a busy Friday night so to be expected.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal - food (we had the cout de boeuf with three sides and two sauces between us) was delicious together with a great wine - service (prompt, and friendly but never hurried) was excellent too. Thanks for a lovely dining experience!

The entire experience was exceptional. All of the team members was very profesionnal and warm. The food was delicious and the vegan set menu was a very appreciated option. The mansion is absolutely beautiful and magical.
